the why behind it all

Weddings and life move quickly. Emotions run high. And the best parts often happen in between the plans.

My role is to create space for you to stay truly present while I document the honest, meaningful pieces of your biggest day as they happen, and step in to guide only when it benefits your experience or gallery. The result isn’t just beautiful images, but photographs that feel like the day you actually lived.

You belong here.

Most days start pretty slow for me unless it's busy season. Coffee or Matcha first, usually outside if the weather lets me, feeding chickens, checking in with the dogs, and easing into work for the day. I spend most mornings editing, getting back to clients, and catching up on the behind the scenes parts of my business. There is almost always music playing and something baking or simmering nearby, even if it is just my sourdough bread rising on the counter or dinner being prepped a day early. I'm often cooking from scratch, tidying up my house, and working on small projects that make home feel more like home to me.

Afternoons tend to be a mix of productivity and fresh air. Some days that looks like fishing with my boyfriend Marc, running errands, or getting outside to clear my head (usually horseback). Other days it is just slowing things down, stepping away from a screen, and letting myself breathe a little. Evenings are my favorite part of the day. Quiet nights, a home cooked meal, a clean kitchen, and winding down early even though I am a night owl by nature. I love routines that feel grounding and days that do not feel rushed. Life feels best to me when it is made up of small moments that might not seem exciting at first glance but mean everything when you look back on them. That same rhythm shapes the way I photograph you, focusing on what is real, unforced, and worth remembering.
