I believe in really ooey gooey sappy romantic goodness and I focus on capturing every single moment! Not JUST the posed and pretty ones... but the real ones, with the tears, laughs, and care that can only be captured if you sit back and watch each couples story unfold. Each person's time in front of my camera is so valuable to me, and it's my duty to allow you to relive every single moment. I want you to enjoy your photos. I keep my focus on your individuality as a couple so your photos make you FEEL.
His hand on your cheek, the pastor bringing tears to your guests eyes, the ocean crashing, the fog slightly clearing during a mountain sunrise in Yosemite, the boots you wore to hike into your elopement because heels were unrealistic, the special necklace your grandmother passed down, the way she crinkles her nose when she laughs, how drenched your hair got during a sudden rain downpour, the way those little baby hands grip your finger, how hard you laugh when someone asks who farts louder.
Experience over production
I have been photographing people, couples, and weddings for almost 5 years BUT before I found photography, I spent a lot of time in front of the camera modeling. You can feel secure knowing I understand true inner confidence, good angles, and fun ways to make being in front of a camera a blast and not a daunting experience (me talking to 90% of the men out there!) While working with me you can expect lots of conversation, fun prompts, loads of attention from your person, and probably alcohol. hehe. (PHEW!!! You mean we can just be ourselves?!) You're damn tootin' and we are going to get the MOST magical photos that you will be able to cherish and appreciate forever.
I'm really passionate for what I do, and I love the incredibly sweet couples I get to work with but I am also a dog mom to my favorite girls, crazy horse chick, and I def. hoard turquoise and cowgirl boots. In my free time, you can find me adventuring, spending time outdoors, riding the horses, or going swing dancing with my girlfriends!
I am a hopeless romantic living in a lonely world. *cue the song everyone hates at the bar but still sings along* Your stories allow me to live vicariously through you, give me hope, and allow me for a moment to borrow your joy and be a part of telling the story you'll tell your grandkids.
