This isn’t about performing for the camera. It’s about slowing down, trusting the process, and being present. I’ll guide you when needed and step back when it matters, creating space for real laughter, real emotion, and connection that actually feels like you.
This is where trust starts. We talk through your vision, what matters most, and what you’re hoping to feel throughout the experience. No pressure, no sales talk, just an honest conversation to make sure we’re aligned and comfortable moving forward together.
Once booked, I’ll help guide location ideas, timing, and details that support you. Everything is planned intentionally. You can relax knowing the pieces are coming together in a way that feels thoughtful, calm, and true to you.
On the day of your wedding or session, my role is to quietly lead and support you. You don’t need to perform or think about what’s next. I’ll handle the flow so you can stay present and enjoy the moments, your day, and the experience.
After your session or wedding, I carefully curate and edit your images with the same intention we started with. You’ll receive a gallery that feels honest, timeless, and reflective of the connection and day you had.
I normally suggest booking your engagement session no later than 6 months in advance of your wedding day. Do not wait until the last minute because you will have plenty on your mind as your big day approaches.
I love it when couples pick a location that is special or sentimental to them in some way! I can also help you decide on a location. Lighting & backgrounds are very important so keep that in mind!
Weather can be unpredictable. We will keep an eye on the weather as your day approaches so that we can reschedule if needed. Please be flexible because this location will likely be an outdoor location.
Detail photos are an essential part of your wedding photography experience. While you’re in one place, many meaningful moments and carefully chosen details are happening at the same time. These images capture the atmosphere of the day and help tell the full story beyond the big moments. Having full coverage and a second photographer allows these details to be documented simultaneously, ensuring nothing is missed. This results in a more complete, thoughtful gallery that reflects the true flow, emotion, and personality of your wedding day.
Family wedding photos are an important part of capturing memories from your special day.
Create a list: Before the wedding day, make a list of all the family photos you want to take. Include immediate family members & any other important family members. Keep that list as short as possible.
Assign a wrangler: Assign a family member or close friend to be your family liaison. This person can help gather family members for the photos.
Communicate with your photographer: Share your list of family photos with me. I can help you ensure that everyone is in the right place at the right time.
Choose a location: Pre-select a location at your venue walkthrough that provides a nice background and lighting for these photos or a location that has sentimental value to your family.
Be patient: Taking family photos can be a bit chaotic, so be patient and flexible. Remember to enjoy the moment have fun with family. We get through it together and I ensure every photo you want is captured.
